Black Gold Emergency Planners and BGGoPlan have teamed up with Tree Canada to participate in its National Greening Program. Tree Canada has developed partnerships with companies to create and sustain a healthy environment in urban and rural areas. This allows companies like Black Gold and BGGoPlan to create a positive impact on the environment.
Trees are vital to our ecosystem; they filter, clean and produce oxygen as well as provide shelter for animals. A fact you may not know is that by planting trees and shrubs we can reduce the world’s noise pollution. Not only are trees a vital part of our ecosystem, but they also provide lush green spaces for enjoyment throughout the year. Since Black Gold and BGGoPlan have made a climate commitment, hundreds of trees have been planted.
Established 25 years ago, Tree Canada has planted well over 82 million trees and created green spaces in over 600 schoolyards. Tree Canada is “the leading tree-planting charity in Canada” (Tree Canada, 2019). The organization is dedicated to improving the lives of Canadians through planting trees and educating people on their value.
