Black Gold Emergency Planners’ core purpose is to develop and implement effective emergency management solutions to keep people safe, to keep the team connected, to keep assets secure and to keep our client’s businesses running. We are enhancing the way we provide expert knowledge by hosting monthly Black Gold University (BGU) lectures for our staff.
Black Gold University’s goal is to expand our team’s knowledge and to educate on all things emergency response. BGU is establishing a space that allows for teamwork, open conversation and to ask questions to further our employee’s skills.
These core values have been taken into consideration to ensure that our clients are receiving an excellent experience with our knowledgeable staff. BGU is allowing our team to gain insight and sustain a well-rounded education in emergency management. Some of the topics include; project planning, efficiency, Emergency Response Plan (ERP) overview/breakdown, BG ERP procedures, hazard assessments and software, mapping standards, ERP/ICS training and the application of BGGoPlan Mobile App technology.
BGU utilizes the mentor / mentee relationships to gain practical knowledge. There are numerous benefits within the relationships that are being cultivated.
By adopting this approach, it will allow for two-way learning with on-going and effective communication throughout the whole office.
Upon completing BGU, our team will have more knowledge to serve our clients, it will also enhance the efficiency within our organization and maintain continuous growth in our organization and community.
