BG3 has a new look and feel – visually and intuitively. BGGoPlan took client feedback and built an app that is more user-friendly with new features that are beneficial to day-to-day operations as well as in an emergency.
Many of the features used in the previous version, BG2, are now conveniently placed on the home screen for ease and accessibility. This app has been two years in the making and contains industry-leading technology. Along with the new look and feel, users will notice new features which enhance the overall experience. Some of the notable features include: (1) asynchronous technology, (2) elimination of additional logins, (3) search all, (4) Protective Action Distance, (5) Roles and Responsibilities, (6) Time & Event Log, (7) Status Boards, (8) Response Chart, and (9) GIS Mapping.
Our app is client-focused—“you asked, we listened.” BG3 is built for superior functionality and is optimized for the user experience in the event of any emergency and day to day communications. It has been used in real-life emergencies, helping connect corporate personnel to field operators with the touch of a button. BG3 was designed with users in mind.
BGGoPlan is celebrating over five years of app technology
App technology has exploded in the last 10 years, and BGGoPlan has been there for five of those years. BGGoPlan is striving to make the most innovative and advanced emergency response app technology on the market.
BGGoPlan benefits from the strong collaborative relationships with our clients and the feedback we receive helps build apps that are functional within day to day operations and emergency situations. In addition to real emergencies, our app is used during training exercises to support emergency response learnings and provide useful documentation.
When BGGoPlan was launched, it started with under 100 users. Since then, BGGoPlan has flourished; we now have over 1,400 users with the mobile application.
The BGGoPlan App has experienced significant improvements that have been implemented since the launch including moving to online, server-based, documentation (ERPs, Maps, etc…). This means that updates can be made unobtrusively and the information app users obtain is always current and relevant.
The group text message technology has been enhanced so that team members can be added or removed on the fly to make group text as user-friendly as possible. Another advantage to the group text technology is you do not need the BGGoPlan application to be added into a group (or team) text message.
Within the app, you have access to online mapping features. The newest improvement to this technology is the fire layer. This layer allows your team to see whether or not there are fires in your operating area. This is an advantage because it can aid you in your emergency preparation. Another value added feature with mapping is the Protective Action Distance widget which allows users to calculate a spill area based on substance while taking local weather conditions into account.
